Hey Claude
A voice assistant for Android that runs entirely on the phone. Say "Hey Claude," wait for the beep, then say what you want.
- "Open Termux" or "launch CompanyCam" opens an app
- "Directions to Riverbend" or "nearest gas station" hands off to Google Maps
- "Call Christina" opens the dialer with the number filled in
- "Text Greg I'm running late", or "Text Greg" and say the message after the second beep
- Anything else, or nothing at all, opens the Claude app
Speech recognition is done offline with Vosk (vosk-model-small-en-us-0.15, downloaded once on first launch). Nothing is recorded, saved or sent anywhere. A second recognizer double checks the wake word against the last few seconds of audio so the TV doesn't set it off.
Built for a Galaxy Z Fold8. Android 10 or newer, arm64 only.
Building
Open in Android Studio or run gradlew assembleRelease. Release builds are signed only if app/heyclaude.jks is present, which it isn't in this repo.
